FACELIFT

Both gravity and diminished volume result in the facial features of aging. Most patients requesting evaluation for facelift feel that their facial features do not reflect the fact that they still feel youthful and energetic. Facelift procedures are designed to smooth the skin of the face, tighten the underlying tissues and muscle, and remove excess skin.

BROW LIFT

At times, subtle sagging of the forehead can cause the eyebrows to descend, which worsens the problem of excessive upper eyelid skin. A forehead & brow lift can be combined with upper eyelid surgery in order to reposition these tissues with the goal of improving the appearance around the eyes. The method used to perform the lift is individualized to the patient’s facial anatomy.

NECK LIFT

Both gravity and diminished volume result in the facial features of aging. Most patients requesting evaluation for neck lift feel that their facial features do not reflect the fact that they still feel youthful. Neck lift procedures are designed to smooth the skin of the neck, tighten the underlying tissues and muscle, and remove excess skin.

UPPER EYELID SURGERY

Aesthetic eyelid surgery is often considered for problems affecting both the upper or lower eyelids. In the upper eyelids, excessive upper eyelid skin can either give patients a sad look, or can hang down and impair vision. Excess eyelid skin is removed during the procedure, and the underlying tissue can be repositioned to improve the overall appearance.

LOWER EYELID SURGERY

Aesthetic eyelid surgery is often considered for problems affecting both the upper or lower eyelids. In the lower eyelids, bags under the eyes can give patients a tired appearance. Excess eyelid skin is removed during the procedure, and the underlying tissue can be repositioned to improve the overall appearance.

FACIAL FAT GRAFTING

Facial fat grafting is a long-established procedure and can give a rejuvenating effect by countering the facial volume loss. For facial fat grafting, the areas targeted are small injections to the cheeks, forehead (temporal areas), and nasolabial folds. It can give your face a fuller appearance up top while minimizing some of the wrinkles.

ASIAN EYELID SURGERY

More often women of Asian descent are born without an extra fold in their eyelids. Some people feel that with their non-existent upper eyelid crease, or more commonly known as monolid, their eyes look smaller and request to get a fold created to achieve double eyelids. Along with Asian blepharoplasty, patients frequently get an epicanthoplasty in conjunction.

RHINOPLASTY

The goal of rhinoplasty is a nose that looks natural and blends harmoniously with the other facial features. Alterations may be made to increase or decrease the nasal bridge, reduce the size or width of the nose, narrow the nostrils, change the angle between the nose and upper lip, or reshape the tip. The surgical techniques employed depend primarily on individualized goals that are established for each patient.

EAR SURGERY

Most commonly, ear surgery is performed for prominent ears, or ears which appear to be protrude too far from the head. In children, ear surgery is recommended as they near total ear development at the age of six or seven. Adults may also have their ears reshaped.

KELOID REMOVAL

Keloids are a special type of skin lesion in which normal skin healing is disrupted and the scar continues to grow. These lesions can often be seen after ear piercing, or after skin injury to the shoulder, chest, or back. Keloids can be removed surgically, and then generally a steroid injection is performed to minimize the chance of recurrence.

JAW SLIMMING

Jaw slimming with Botulinum therapy is a non-invasive procedure that is gaining in popularity. Botox is used to slim down the jawline by reducing the volume of the chewing muscle known as the masseter. The Botox acts to cause a ‘thinning’ of the muscle, or atrophy of the chewing muscle or masseter.

CHIN & CHEEK IMPLANT

Chin implants are most commonly for patients who want a more forward projection, but we also see patients who ask for a more prominent downwards projection. Cheek implants are oftentimes for patients who feel their midface area is sunken in.

JAW SHAVING

Jaw shaving is common among women who feel that their lower jaws are too wide in proportion to the rest of their face. This is a procedure that was pioneered in Asian countries as most women were looking for slimmer jawlines. Jaw shaving applies to patients with broad jawbones, whereas jaw slimming can better target hypertrophied muscles.
